PROJECTS

PEN CENTRE AWARD:
"A Political Prisoner's Survival guide"

PROJECT 361.1:
A GUIDE TO POLITICAL IMPRISONMENT

An illustrated book based on political prisoners' stories and drawings made during imprisonment. See the e-book in English here.
I designed the book contents, created the visual identity, and other materials based on original drawings. All texts in the book are handwritten to emphasize that letters are the only means of communication with the real world for political prisoners. Awarded a special prize by the PEN Centre in 2025, "For thorough work transforming personal and collective experience into artistic-documentary evidence." project361.org/en

AWARD NOMINATED PROJECT: "Her name was Liza"

AWARD NOMINATED PROJECT: "Her name was Liza"

Nominated for “Human Rights Campaign/Initiative of the Year” 2024. All materials were created in under 24 hours because the campaign was a reaction to the tragic death of a rape victim in Warsaw. The logo is based on Liza’s portrait, but doesn’t resemble her face closely to allow her privacy.

REDESIGN: COMMEMORATIVE POETRY READING

REDESIGN: COMMEMORATIVE POETRY READING

Visual identity for a commemorative poetry reading. I created the identity based on designs for previous years, also used translations of poems into different languages to highlight international participation, and added images from historical materials on the topic.
